We know John Henry from his baptism in 1775. I don't know what happened to him after that. He may well have died young.

John was listed in the 1820 Census, age 26-44 and in the 1840 Census, age 40-49 — in Augusta Township in both instances. If both reported ages were accurate he was born in the 1790-1794 period. The woman I believe was his wife was born in 1796, so that makes perfect sense.
This basically rules out that John was one and the same as John Henry born in 1775, but as everything about John is pretty sketchy I am letting that apparent contradiction stand.
John was also named many times on the taxpayer lists of Augusta Township. He was first listed in 1806 and then pretty consistently through 1827, the latest list available. Typically he had no land and typically he was listed somewhat apart form the other Martzes of Augusta Township.
