I share DNA with one person who seems to descend from Samuel Wheeland (1771-1834) whose wife was Ester and some Ancestry trees say she was Ester Mertz, daughter of Peter (P1), known from her 1777 baptism at Longswamp. Her age makes her a candidate but I can find nothing that indicates she was even for sure maiden name Mertz so I don’t know what this supposed connection is based on.
