Margaret was listed in the 1850 Census living with her parents. There is a Union County marriage record dated 9/11/1851 for Benjamin Millhoff and Margaret Mertz and then in September 1857 a John Hummel petitions the court that Samuel Mertz, administrator of Benjamin Milhoff didn't make a proper accounting. So the evidence strongly suggests that this Margaret d/o Samuel is one and the same as Margaret w/o Benjamin Millhoff.
Benjamin died in 1855 and was buried in Selinsgrove. Margaret died in 1856 and was buried in New Berlin.
She was not mentioned in her father's 1871 will, further suggesting she pre-deceased him.
