Parent-Proof notes for 6G GM Elizabeth Anderson
Robert Barnes cites a church record documenting her birth 15 Oct 1694 and that she was baptized at St. James Parish 17 Sep 1704.

The 1725 will of John Anderson of Anne Arundel County mentioned daughter Eliza. It did not refer to her by a married name.
My Comments notes for 6G GM Elizabeth Anderson
Elizabeth married second John Powell in 1720 and had a daughter Elizabeth by him.
Parent-Proof notes for William (Spouse 1)
The father-son relationship between William Pearce who died in 1705 and the one who died in 1719 becomes apparent by following the Sarah Tipton connection. This is possibly the easiest father-son connection to make since both Williams died in Anne Arundel County.

1. A 1705 petition by Jonathan Tipton stated that he was in possession of part of “Pascall’s Chance” “in right of his wife Sarah, daughter of William Pearce”. This proves that a man named William Pearce existed and presumably died about (or before) 1705.

2. A separate 1707 claim on a part of “Pascall’s Chance” by a man named William Pearce implies that he must also have been a child of William who died about 1705.

3. A William Pearce died in 1719 in Anne Arundel County and mentioned nephews Thomas and William Tipton in his will.

The presumption is that William 1705 had a son William and daughter Sarah. Sarah married Jonathan Tipton, and their children were the nephews mentioned by William 1719.
Relocated notes for William (Spouse 1)
This William lived his life, I believe, in Anne Arundel County but I also believe he was the William Pearce who patented a tract called “Pearce’s Folly” in Baltimore County in 1716 and that is how his son William came later to live in Baltimore County.
My Comments notes for William (Spouse 1)
Robert W Barnes documents ”Married 5 Sep 1711 at All Hallow’s Parish (Anne Arundel County) William Pearce and Elizabeth Anderson.” The will of William Pearce of Anne Arundel County dated 12 Sep 1719 proved 19 Oct 1719 divided his estate between sons John and William. Wife Elizabeth was Executrix and the will mentioned nephews Thomas and William Tipton.

It is clear his sons were minors, at one point it says "sons to be on own at 16 years" and "wife Elizabeth, executrix, to bring up children and give them at age 21 their lawful share of personal estate."

So the assumption is that this William, son of William 1705 (inferred from the Tipton connection) was the William who married Elizabeth Anderson, and then died young. The Anne Arundel location of all of these people is also part of the presumed glue tying them all together.

The book Colonial Families of Maryland in addition to linking this William (died 1719) to William (died 1705) says he patented a tract called “Pearce's Folly” and that his occupation of tailor was stated in his will. It would be nice to know if he was a tailor and where that idea came from, since the William Pearce I believe was his son was, indeed, a tailor. But the problem is, no occupation for William was stated in his will -- I have a copy and I have studied it closely.

Marvin Pearce did not state a connection between this William to earlier Pearces and/or William Pearces as he did not think it was proven. He cited his marriage to Elizabeth Anderson and said she went on to marry second Mr. Manning. Marvin mentioned the Tipton connection between Sarah Tipton and William 1719 and even knew that Sarah Pearce was the wife of Jonathan Tipton. But he apparently wasn’t aware of Sarah Tipton’s connection to William 1705.
