The Heffner Family Association says, based on Eberstadt records, that Andreas’ parents were Heinrich Hafner, born 10 Sep 1644, died 3 Apr 1720 and Ursula Gramlich. I have no reason to dispute this but I have not bothered to add them into my database.

A past historian of the Heffner Family Association traveled to Germany to visit Eberstadt. He found there were several, but upon a visit to the one of that name about 30 miles east of Heidelberg, he found that many people there still carried the Hafner name. He also said the name Gramlich, supposedly the name of Andreas’ mother, was still present in that place too. So he was certain he had found the Eberstadt that was the family’s ancestral home.

Andreas and Apollonia did not emigrate.
