"Maryland Warrants, Liber #6, Folio 426-427 (1705): Whereas, Jonathan
Tipton, of Anne Arundel County, by his humble petition to his Lord's
Dep(uties)..hath set forth that he is in pos(ession) in his rights of his
wife, Sara, daughter of Wm. Pearce, of part of a tract of land called
Pascales Chance, originally layed out for three hundred acres to which
there is a piece of warrant land contiguous, unto which the petitioner
made some small improvements by reason whereof..he prays that he might
have a special warrant to lay thereon.." The petition was granted 11
July 1705.
Reference is made to Maryland Warrants, Liber #6, Folio 426-427 (1705) wherein Jonathan Tipton claimed Pascales Chance in right of his wife Sara, daughter of Wm Pearce.
