Jesse R is known from his presence in his father’s household in Census and he was named in his will. He is designated P2d1d.
In 2015, I was contacted by Dan Marnell who is writing a history of the Shamokin Valley Railroad and the stores along its route operated by Martz, Muench & Company. It seems all very much tied up with Solomon Martz and his sons and their sons, especially given that Solomon’s son Reuben married Emma Muench.
He was specifically asking about Frank Martz who owned the store at Reed’s Station and was postmaster there until 1953. I pulled several Census listings for Dan including the 1900 Census in which we find Franklin age 8 living with his father Jesse.
