J L Floyd says this about William E. "William E Martz was born 27 Jan 1857 at Snydertown and worked the family farm there until 1899 when he moved to Rockefeller Township to farm 58 valuable acres at the head of Plum Creek formerly part of the William Miller farm. On 17 Feb 1891 he married Sarah Ann Miller daughter of William Miller and Ann (Strickland). They have no children."
