Peter Alva was not named in his father’s will. From his birth date, in fact, he was apparently born after his father died. But he is known because a petition was filed on his behalf to add him as a beneficiary of his father’s estate. Peter Alva s designated P2e3.

Peter can be found in Germantown in 1860 living with his mother, Hannah, then married to Samuel Achley. In 1870, he lived with the Schaeffer family. I’m not sure I would have found him in 1880 since he moved to Treble County but the presence of his wife Dollie makes the connection.

Alva Martz is listed on find-a-grave buried in the same cemetery as the rest of his family. I made an edit to link him to his father.
