His 1852 death certificate says he was the son of John Ott and Catherine and that his wife was named Elizabeth and that he was to be buried in Selinsgrove.

There are two find-a-grave memorials for Daniel, both have typos in the dates. One has his date of birth right, the other has his date of death right. He is buried at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Selinsgrove which per find-a-grave is also known as New Lutheran, which is where his dc said he was to be buried.

Ella Rossiter says that Ester married Daniel Ott and their children were: Jacob, George, Samuel, Daniel, William, Henry and Lydia who married Jackson Gaugler.

Notice in the Northumberland Republicaner of 28 Nov 1812. “Married, Daniel Ott and Esther Hummel of Penns Twp.”
