Peter and his son George are buried side-by-side at Hummel’s Cemetery. There are several Hummel-Millhoff connections in subsequent generations but those wouldn’t explain why Peter or his son (who never married we don’t think) are buried there.

The suspicion is that Peter’s wife Catherine must be a Hummel or Hummel descendant.
