My Comments notes for Maurice Fennell
Jerry Vernon, a descendant of Maurice’s daughter by his second wife, sent me a transciption of Maurice’s Revolutionary War Pension Applicatin and his widow’s later application.

These are the pertinent facts:

Maurice’s applicatin was filed on 20 Aug 1823, he said he was 67. [1756]. He served in the Continetal Line. His wife (then) was Penelope, age 37, infirm. They had a daughter Leonora Alis age 3.
Parent-Proof notes for Penelope (Spouse 2)
Jerry Vernon has told me her maiden name was Stallings, a fact known from Maurice’s pension application.
My Comments notes for Penelope (Spouse 2)
