My Comments notes for Barbara Baer
Not to be left out, Barbara and Heinrich Vetter also stood as sponsor for several baptisms of her brother’s children.
• Jacob and Elisabetha Baer baptized son Heinrich in 1778 with Heinrich and Barbara Vetter standing as sponsor and John Adam and Anna Margaretha also baptized a son Heinrich in 1785 with the same sponsors.
• I don’t think it was real common for a couple to name a child after the unrelated spouse of a sibling but I believe that is exactly what happened here. There are exceptions to every rule, aren’t there?
• In her will, Barbara spread her money (and she had some) around among the children of all three of her brothers but even gave extra money to the two Henry’s mentioned above so she clearly felt something special for them.

My Comments notes for Henry (Spouse 1)
I have put Henry into my database with the Vetter spelling, since that is the way his name appeared in the Lowhill Church records, but Vetter and Fetter are the same name. Whether Henry had any relationship at all to Grandma’s Fetter ancestors, I don’t know. If there was one, I’ve not been able to trace it.
