Parent-Proof notes for Anna Margaretha Peter
The same logic by which I deduced that Magdalena Peter married Johannes Baer -- her sister’s husband’s brother -- pertains to John Adam and his wife Anna Margaretha. I believe this was a third brother marrying a third sister. John Adam was one of three sons-in-law named Baer by Jacob Peter in his will.

And in the records of Lowhill Church, there are multiple instances of these sibling pairs standing up for each other and naming their children after each other to add a lot of credibility to my reasoning.
My Comments notes for John Adam (Spouse 1)
John Adam was named often in the records of Lowhill Church.

• There was the previously cited 1773 baptism of John Adam’s daughter Maria Magdalena for which Johannes and Magdalena Baer stood as sponsors. In my experience, a couple naming their daughter after the husband’s brother’s wife was not a common occurrence, except when that wife also happened to be the sister of the mother and I think that was the case here. (I know, that was a lot to follow.)

• When Jacob and Elisabetha Baer baptized their daughter Anna Margaretha in 1776, John Adam and his wife Anna Margaretha stood as sponsors. Once again, a couple named their daughter after the wife of the husband’s brother indicating, to me at least, that it just has to be that the child’s namesake also was the sister of the mother.

• Peter and Regina Grow stood once as sponsor for the 1779 baptism of a child of John Adam and Anna Margaretha -- in this case the child was named Peter. I guess there was no lingering bitterness in this family carrying over from the lawsuit by the minor children of Johannes Baer against their mother and her second husband.
