John is on find-a-grave. He is linked there to his wife, said to be Alice Lavina (Bubb) Martz. His wife was named Catherine in the 1870 and 1880 Census. Then in 1900, his wife was Lavina, they had been married 33 years and she had had two children, both still alive. Two children lived with this couple, John A 30 and Mary E 16. There is very little that is consistent between John’s 1880 household and 1900, it is a little confusing.
