Birth, Parent-Proof, Designation notes for Christian Marts (N1a1)
We believe that Christian (aka Christopher) was the son of Conrad since he was listed in the 1820 Census immediately next door to Conrad. They both at the time lived in Butler County, OH. Conrad then moved on before 1830 but Christian stayed on in Butler County.
His name was given as Christian in four Census listings and Christopher in two. I suspect it was Christian, named perhaps for Conrad’s uncle Christian Fritts,
Christian is designated N1a1.
Relocated and Census Tracking notes for Christian Marts (N1a1)
Christian gave the conflicting answers in Census of NY or PA as to his birthplace, but he lived almost all of his life in Butler County, OH.
Death and Find-a-Grave notes for Christian Marts (N1a1)
I do not see Christian on find-a-grave.
Known Sons notes for Christian Marts (N1a1)
From Census, Christian may have had as many as five sons. But the only one I know of for sure is Abraham. There is an unidentified Jacob Marts in Butler County of the right age but I can’t be sure who his father was.
