Obituary: “Mary E. Moore, 84, of Sunbury, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2011. She was born Oct. 28, 1926, at home in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Foster D. and Malinda M. (Durtz) Martz. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Amy A. and Robert L. Horn, of Sunbury; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert W. and Carole J. Moore, of Sunbury; two grandchildren, Karen S. Moore and Brian L. Moore and wife Julie; one stepgreat-grandson, Jeffrey Stanford; one sister, Helen M. Sprenkle, of Sunbury; a special niece, Linda Moyer; and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Glen, Raymond “Buzz,” Roy, Jack and Robert, and one niece. Burial will be in Pomfret Manor Cemetery.
