I know Solomon had a son Gideon age 2 in 1850. I know, from the 1892 court filing that Gideon was still alive at the time of that filing, that his wife was Mollie and that they thought Gideon was living in Tippecanoe County at the time of that filing.
So I am quite sure the 1872 marriage record I found for Gideon Martz and Mary E Snyder in Tippecanoe County was this Gideon.
I also believe that the Gideon Martz in Cass County, IN in 1880 and 1900 with wife Mary was him. Mary of Jacob's family ended up in Cass County. Gideon is designated H1b2a.
So I am quite sure the 1872 marriage record I found for Gideon Martz and Mary E Snyder in Tippecanoe County was this Gideon.
I also believe that the Gideon Martz in Cass County, IN in 1880 and 1900 with wife Mary was him. Mary of Jacob's family ended up in Cass County. Gideon is designated H1b2a.

I found the death record of Gideon Martz age 63 who died in 1911 in Carroll County, IN. There is very little to go on to be sure this is the Gideon of interest but I note that his age suggests he was born about 1848 which fits what I know about this Gideon and I also know that his uncle Jacob is buried in Carroll County.
