Research notes for Capt John Holbrook (Holbrook 2, page 331)
The Vinton book and his find-a-grave memorial call him Capt John Holbrook. It says on his find-a-grave memorial that was a Lieutenant in “King Philip’s War” and in the Vinton book it says he was an active officer in that war.
He had three wives but from the timing it seems clear that Elizabeth Stream was the mother of his two children who were Priscilla’s ancestors.

There is a memorial for her on find-a-grave with more information than found in the Vinton book. It gives her dates of birth and death and says she was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Stream.
