His death certificate says he was the son of George Martz and Rachel Keller. He lived with his parents in 1850 and 1860 and his mother lived with him in 1880.

Her maiden name is known from death certificates of several of her children. I think she is the girl known as Elizabeth George, daughter of Philip George in the 1850 and 1860 Census.
