Her death certificate says she was born in Northumberland County, the daughter of David and Catherine (Hartman) Martz.
The find-a-grave memorial of her husband says they married 10 Jul 1856 in Venango County, PA.
I first became aware of this woman when a family tree of a DNA cousin of mine suggested she was the daughter of Jacob Martz (U1b) and Rachel Welker. That couple did have a daughter Sarah (abt 1837-1912), thus the mix-up. But the evidence seems pretty clear that David’s daughter Sarah married John Seip and moved to Missouri and Jacob’s daughter Sarah stayed locally in Dauphin County.
