Nancy Philips age 51 born NJ lives in North’d Borough with Daniel 22, Lydia 18, Hiram 13 and Philip 12

I now know that the father of Margaret Philips was Philip Phillips but I have no idea who Philip’s father may have been.

But based on DNA, it’s possible and worth investigating, that Margaret was a grand-daughter of David Lynch Phillips.

So my tree has both these people in here as Margaret’s father and grandfather.

I found him possibly in the 1810 Census in Shamokin Township with several daughters one of whom who could be Margaret.

He was there still in 1820, also with daughters of the right age but then again John Young may have recently married Margaret by 1820 and he was then living in Shamokin Township confirmed by David’s birth certificate which says he was born in Irish Valley, PA.

By 1830, Philip had moved to Point Township, he was 60-69. John Young was still in Shamokin Township but would move by 1840 to Point.

1840, still 60-69, now in North’d Borough.

Son Daniel said father was born Ireland in 1880.

Son Philip said his father was born Wales on his DC.

Deed book O 381, Philip of Shamokin buys 170 acres in Shamokin Township in 1808 and then on deed W 179 with wife Elizabeth sells it in 1827
