We know from the petition to partition Abraham’s land that he had a daughter Catherine married to Abraham Kashner and that Catherine had died before that 1840 petition was filed. Bette Gardner knew that Catherine had actualy died much earlier, in about 1827, not long after the birth of her own daughter Cathreine.
