My Comments notes for Catharine Reber
The birth/baptism of Catharine Reaber, daughter of Michael and wife Elisabetha (said in an AWT to be nee Herrold), was documented at Mertz Church with a date of birth of 20 Apr 1759 and baptism 4 Jun (presumably 1759). Sponsors were George Michael Herrold and Eva.
I am not aure where I got the exact date of her birth as 25 Apr 1760, but since I seem to have also been told where she was buried, I assume it comes from her tombstone. So there is some discrepancy, but others say this is the same person.
David and Catherine later baptize a daughter at Mertz Church. So this couple is interesting in that presumably David was raised Reformed and Catharine Lutheran and they might be the first instance of a Longswamp and Mertz Church couple.
Census History notes for David (Spouse 1)
In the 1800 Census in Berks County, we find:
David Klein in Maxatawny age 45+ with younger males under 10 and 2 more 16-25, a wife 26-44 and 2 daughters 10-15. This confirms quite nicely to this David (1754-1821).
David Kline in Longswamp age 16-25 as was his wife and there was a male 10-15 and a female under 10 present.
David Klein in Tulpehocken age 45+ with a very large family, and
David Klein age 26-44 in Exeter.
I think for now we can ignore the latter two..
In the 1810 Census in Berks County, we find David Kline in Maxatawny age 45+ as was his wife with a large family. I think it is this David.
Find-a-Grave notes for David (Spouse 1)
David and Catherine and all of their children are on find-a-grave. David wrote his will 12 Mar 1821 and it proved 4 May 1821. He said he was of Maxatawney Township and named his wife Catherine and his property to his son Jonathan who was to pay cash over time to his other children.
Children Names notes for David (Spouse 1)
He named his children in his will. In addition to Jonathan, there was Catherine, David, Christiana, Benjamin, Gideon and Leah.
Two additional daughters Julian and Rachel are linked to David and Catherine on find-a-grave.
David named three executors: son Jonathan and Christian Luckenbill and Frederick Bobbmeyer. The latter two were no doubt sons-in-law. Per find-a-grave, his daughter Catharina married Christian Luckenbill and his daughter Christina (aka Christiana) married Frederick Bobbmeyer.
