Parent-Proof notes for Eva Magdalena Heffner
Her baptism was recorded at Moselem. Meiser gives her date of birth as 26 Jul 1765 and said she was the daughter of Heinrich and Eva Maria.
My Comments notes for Eva Magdalena Heffner
She was the sister of our ancestor Maria Elizabeth Heffner, wife of John Jacob Hummel, her husband’s cousin (I believe).

My Comments notes for Frederick (Spouse 1)
Meiser documented this man and his family. He was the progenitor of the Shamokin Township line. Everything we know about Frederick would logically suggest he was a son of Johannes, the main point being that Eve, known daughter of Johannes, who married John Peter Haas, came to Shamokin Townshi. about the time that Frederick did.
Meiser suggested this possible relationship but then noted that in requesting his Revolutionary War pension, Frederick did not use Eve as a witness, so Meiser argued maybe she wasn’t his sister. That seems to me a weak argument and so I have placed Frederick as a son of Johannes.
The other man associated with Frederick and Eve, John George, had no children. Thus the next generation of Hummels who appeared in Shamokin Township were all descendants of Frederick.
Children Names notes for Frederick (Spouse 1)
From their proximity in Census and confirmed by Meiser: Solomon, Jacob, Samuel, Abraham and Valentine were the next generation of Hummels of Shamokin Township..
