Her maiden name is given on her tombstone which also tells us she was born 7 Apr 1882. Census fairly consistently says she was born in Indiana, her father in Ireland and her mother in Indiana. So a search of the 1900 and Census looking for a person who fit those facts produced the household of Samuel and Margaret A Kerr living in Monroe County, Indiana. She s named Alice born Apr 1882 in Indiana. Samuel was born in Ireland, Margaret A in Indiana. Everyhting fits, including that she named a daughter Margaret A.
