Birth, Parent-Proof, Designation notes for Henry (Spouse 1)
It is just a guess that Henry was the son of Philip Martz (N3a1). I base it on the fact that Henry just appeared in 1850 in West Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County. From all my work on the Mærtzes of nearby places, I don’t recognize him as some Henry who disappeared from some other place.

So, if he was a native of Schuylkill County, then, based only on his geographic location, maybe he was the son of Philip who had lived previously in that place and who, if I have correctly identified Philip in 1830, had a son of the right age to be Henry.

Henry is designated N3a1a.
Relocated and Census Tracking notes for Henry (Spouse 1)
While I may not be certain who has father was, the Henry I’m profiling here is the Henry Martz in 1850 and 1860 in West Brunswick in Census and 1870 in Pine Grove. We know it’s him in Pine Grove from the correspondence of the names and ages of other household members from 1860 to 1870. I can find his son Frank in 1880 and his daughter Sarah in 1900 but other than that, the rest of the family seems to disappear after 1870.
